We are strategically dividing our software development/IT team into two areas and are looking for an experienced manager for the new IT/OT Infrastructure & Security team. As team leader, you will further develop the division, support our customers in their digital transformation and contribute to their success with efficient solutions. Your tasks
- Technical and organizational management of an interdisciplinary team.
- Planning and implementation of IT/OT infrastructure solutions.
- Development and implementation of customized security concepts, especially in the areas of OT, network, interfaces and VPN.
- Design and implementation of customized backup solutions
- Management and implementation of projects for the digitalization of industrial processes, including the integration of our KRIS process optimization software.
- You support your team with your expertise in the implementation and commissioning of projects and, together with the project managers, are responsible for ensuring that customer requirements are met.
- Consulting and close cooperation with customers and suppliers on IT/OT architectures, security solutions and network designs.
- Supporting the sales department in the further development of our own software solutions and services as well as with customer inquiries.
- Occasional on-site visits to customers to implement and support projects
Your profile
- Degree in IT security, computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in the field of servers, networks or IT security, ideally at an IT service provider or in an industrial environment.
- Experience as a team leader or in a comparable management role – alternatively, several years of expertise in the listed areas.
- In-depth knowledge of the relevant IT security standards and concepts (e.g. ISO 27001, IEC 62443) and their practical implementation.
- Experience in planning and implementing network architectures, firewall systems, VPN and other IT/OT security solutions.
- Experience in setting up virtual server systems, including virtualization solutions such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Experience in setting up and maintaining Windows server environments
- High level of self-motivation, a keen ability to grasp new concepts and an empathetic personality that is reflected in the leadership and motivation of interdisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to support not only the conceptual management but also the practical implementation and to react flexibly in urgent cases.
- Ability to actively shape innovative digitization solutions with our process optimization software KRIS and to successfully implement them in projects.
- Structured way of working, strong problem-solving skills and an interest in further developing IT/OT technologies.
- Good written and spoken English.
