Your tasks
The digitalization and networking of systems, processes and machines is a decisive factor for successful industrial production. We take our customers to the next level of digital transformation with customized solutions. Our main focus here is not only on the performance and reliability of software, systems and networks, but also on IT security.
In this context, you will install and configure IT/OT systems and Industry 4.0 solutions based on our KRIS³ process information and energy management system. You will connect switches and develop secure and highly available solutions based on Microsoft technologies. You will work independently in an interdisciplinary team of IT and automation experts. You will clarify interfaces from automation to the cloud and communicate with customers and suppliers. Over time, you will have the opportunity to take on project management tasks and play an active role in the further development of our products and services.
As part of the implementation process, you will visit our customers on site. You will travel regionally, but also internationally in all sectors of the process industry. In this exciting environment, you will design today's state-of-the-art technology for the solutions of the future.
Your profile
- Degree in computer science or automation technology, training as an IT specialist or comparable qualification with relevant experience
- Professional experience in the field of industrial IT is an advantage
- Specialist knowledge of IT/OT infrastructure (server-based Microsoft, possibly Linux applications, virtualization with VMware, IT security, network technology)
- Willingness to travel and undergo further training
- Ability to work in a team, independence and flexibility
- Very good German and good English skills
