SIMATIC PCS 7 Version 9.0

All software products of the SIMATIC PCS 7 V9.0 process control system were discontinued as of October 1, 2023 and replaced by versions 9.1 and 10.0. Since then, the regular purchase of new licenses for version 9.0 has only been possible as part of a legacy system service contract.

If you are dependent on a previous version, we have good news: we have a Legacy System Service contract (until January 2026) through which we can continue to obtain version 9.0 software for you.

We can also support you with technical support if you experience any issues.

Note: System Registration with System ID (SID)

When you register your system, you will receive a system ID (SID) that is stored at Siemens Technical Support.

The advantages of the SID:

Fast and unambiguous identification of your plant over its entire lifecycle
More efficient processing of your support requests through access to the stored basic data

Now, this service will also apply to support requests for the older PCS 7 version 9.1.
